What kind of breeds are used as police dogs?
Beagles, Chihuahuas and different kinds of mixed breeds

How is it possible for a dog to track a person?
It can smell a person’s body fluids within a range of 50 miles if the wind is calm.
It can read the past because it has a sixth sense.
It can smell crushed insects and vegetation, polish from a person’s shoe, fibre from clothes and dead skin cells.
How good is a dog's sense of smell?
A dog can smell 10 times better than a human being.
A dog can follow a track that is more than 48 hours old.
A dog’s sense of smell is 1,000 times better than that of a human being.
How are drug dogs trained?
They are born with the ability to recognize the smell of drugs and will find them if they are in the same area.
They are rewarded for every finding.
They are punished if they don’t find any drugs.
